Faiyaz Shahpurwala

Faiyaz Shahpurwala is currently an advisor at TruU. Faiyaz was previously the VP, GM of IBM Cloud from March 2017 to December 2019. In this role, they led the charter for IBM global Cloud Platform with datacenters (DC) across 19 countries and 6 continents. Shahpurwala has also worked for Cisco Systems from January 2003 to April 2016, where they were the SVP, Cloud Infrastructure & Managed Services, Industry Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for the creation, development and implementation of Cisco’s Global Intercloud infrastructure. Faiyaz built a team from zero to 600+ over two years and oversaw the architecture, engineering and delivery for all global intercloud nodes. Shahpurwala has also built 12 Intercloud Datacenters across the United States, Europe, Asia and Japan.

Faiyaz Shahpurwala has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Western Michigan University. Faiyaz also has a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Computer Engineering from the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Western Michigan University.
