Nakyda Dean

Nakyda Dean, MD, currently serves as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation since July 2021, providing comprehensive patient care in women's health and educating medical residents and students. In addition, Nakyda Dean works as a Locum Tenens Laborist at Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services since May 2020, delivering full-spectrum inpatient obstetrical services. Nakyda Dean previously participated in the Heal Initiative as a Global Health Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on health equity. Additional experience includes providing obstetric and gynecological care in underserved communities, completing residency training at Rush University Medical Center, and supporting electronic health record implementation as a Medical Student Consultant with MedDocLive. Nakyda Dean holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, along with a preparatory certificate from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Cornell College.
