Arthur Joos

Arthur Joos is a Design & Test Engineer for ETCS Level 2 at Infrabel since November 2022 and has been serving as a Design Engineer for Signalling at TUC RAIL since October 2019, where responsibilities include detailed design for earthing, return current, and lateral signalling for ETCS Level 2 projects, along with assisting the approval process for ERTMS on the Lyon-Turin cross-border line. Additionally, Arthur Joos holds the position of Lead Engineer at the ERTMS Users Group, providing support for ERTMS implementation, preparing meetings, and offering engineering guidelines to railway members for operational harmonisation. Previously, Arthur Joos interned at Siemens PLM Software as a Master Student and holds a Master of Science in Electromechanical Engineering with a focus on Vehicle Technology and Transport, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Electrotechnology and Mechanics from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
