Rocco Dirico

Rocco DiRico is the Executive Director of Government & Community Relations at Tufts University since July 2016, where management of relationships with federal, state, and local governments and collaboration with elected officials in Boston, Medford, Somerville, and Grafton are key responsibilities. Prior to this role, Rocco served as the Director of Government & Community Relations for the United States Senate from July 2013 to June 2016, focusing on telecommunications, economic development, transportation, and military and veterans affairs. Rocco’s extensive experience in government relations also includes positions as District Director, Deputy District Director, Grants Director, and Congressional Aide in the US House of Representatives from August 2001 to July 2013. Educational credentials include a Master in Public Administration from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Providence College.
