Chin Poh Peng

Malaysian citizen, born in 1959. Obtained a Bachelor of Agriculture degree from the Agricultural University of Malaysia. Starting his career in the plantation industry from 1979 to 1997, working in oil palm and rubber plantations in Guthries-Malaysia for 18 years in the operational section and most recently served as Agronomy Advisor. Then joined the Tropicrop Group as a plantation consultant and as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for 13 years, from 1997 to 2010. Then worked at PT Smart Tbk (Sinarmas Group) as Head, Agronomy Audit & Advisory from 2011 to in 2014 and once served as ManagingDirector at IMC Plantations from 2015 to 2016. After working with IMC Plantations, joined Sungai Budi Group as Head of Plantations to lead all plantations. Has a professional career in the plantation industry for more than 35 years, and has experience in plantation management related to the entire plantation cycle from operational planning to seed technology and agronomy. Appointed as Director of TBLA since May 2018 until now.
