Selcuk Pehlivanoglu

Born in Ankara in 1963, Selçuk Pehlivanoğlu graduated from the Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering in 1987 after graduating from TED Ankara College. He worked as a civil engineer in Germany for a while. Sepe İnş. Trade and San. Ltd. He served as the general manager of the company.

In 1993, as the beginning of his political life, he founded the Motherland Party Volunteers Group and served as its chairman. He was appointed as the vice president of the organization in 1997. Pehlivanoğlu, who was elected as a member of MKYK in 1998, became a deputy candidate for Ankara 2nd region 4th in the 1999 general elections.

Selçuk Pehlivanoğlu, who has made significant contributions to the Turkish Education Association for many years, served as the vice president and chairman of auxiliary organizations between 1999-2001. In 2002, he served as the vice chairman, the chairman of the election affairs and the chairman of the volunteer group. Selçuk Pehlivanoğlu has been serving as the President of the Turkish Education Association since 2003.
