Syahmi Sapperi

Syahmi Sapperi is an experienced Subtitle Translator currently working at TVT Media and Dicentia Studios A/S since March and July 2023, respectively, and has been contributing to ZOO Digital Group plc since 2014. In addition to subtitle translation, Syahmi has been engaged as an English to Malay Translator with Gengo and Chambers Translation Sdn.Bhd. since 2015 and 2013, respectively. Previous roles include Subtitle Translator at Sublime Subtitling and a Driver Partner at Grab. Syahmi also served as a Translation Consultant at Awantec and worked with SDI Media and SEAtongue as an English to Malay Translator. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Human Sciences in English Language and Literature with a focus on English Linguistics from International Islamic University Malaysia, obtained between 2009 and 2013.
