Gideon Boateng

Gideon Boateng is an incoming Software Engineer Intern at Twitch and currently participating in Google’s G-SWEP program. Previous experience includes a Software Engineer position at Microsoft, where significant contributions involved developing a UI banner component using React and TypeScript, enhancing user engagement, and collaborating on automation tests. Gideon has also been an Advanced Technical Participant and iOS Developer through CodePath, gaining extensive knowledge in app development, data persistence, and networking. Additional experience includes roles at Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan focusing on digital innovation and stock market analysis. Gideon is actively involved with ColorStack, a nonprofit aimed at supporting Black and Latinx Computer Science graduates, and has a strong educational foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Hunter College, complemented by various certifications from CodePath.
