Stephen Russell

Stephen Russell is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the transportation and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Transportation & Infrastructure for TYPSA since April 2021, Stephen's previous roles include Director of Transportation at Sweco UK, Director of Highways Design & Management at Mouchel, and Operations Director for Transportation at Grontmij Group. Early career experiences include serving as a Group Engineer at Atkins and as a Structural Engineer at Bullen Consultants Limited. Stephen began a career in engineering as a Technician at Harrison Bros, specializing in access and repair services in various industries. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Teesside.
