Hailey Wellenstein

Hailey Wellenstein is a consultant at the International Food Policy Research Institute, specializing in data analysis related to drought-tolerant crop varieties, employing descriptive statistics and econometric methods. Wellenstein has also worked as a Kenya Project Intern, cleaning and preparing crop image databases for analysis. As Co-Chair of McCourt Policy in Practice, Wellenstein co-led a team focused on sustainable development projects in Latin America. Previous experience includes serving as an Advocacy Assistant for Catholic Relief Services, organizing events and conducting research on international development issues. Additionally, Wellenstein held various leadership roles during studies at Marquette University, where responsibilities included budget management and event coordination. Wellenstein holds a Master's degree in International Development Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Marquette University.
