Vidya Mahadevan

Vidya Mahadevan is a highly experienced professional in the fields of data governance, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and public health. Currently serving as a Senior Data Governance Advisor at USAID since February 2021 and co-chair of the Data and Digital Governance Working Group at the Health Data Collaborative, Mahadevan has an extensive background that includes roles as a Senior Technical Advisor and M&E consultant for various organizations. Previous positions include Senior M&E Advisor at Management Sciences for Health and Area Health Coordinator for GOAL during the Ebola Response. Mahadevan's experience is complemented by a strong educational background with a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and International Health from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University.
