Walter Cook

Walter Cook, CISSP, is an experienced information security professional currently serving as Chief Developer at Reqfast since December 2018, where significant contributions include designing and launching the company's flagship platform on AWS and overseeing a major upgrade to version 2.0 currently in user acceptance testing. With a strong background in insider threat programs, Walter has volunteered as a mentor for "The Threat Within" courses through iQ4 since September 2017. Previously, Walter held the position of Principal Advisor at Flashpoint from May 2017 to November 2018, providing consultative guidance for customer programs and developing tailored training workshops. Walter's earlier career at American Express spanned over a decade, featuring roles such as Information Security Specialist responsible for the global Insider Threat Program, and Team Lead for the US Reporting Center. Walter holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of Arizona, earned between 1990 and 1994.
