Elizabeth Rowland is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in promoting US-China economic relations and supporting small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Currently serving as the Director of Subnational Initiatives at the US-China Business Council since November 2021, Elizabeth leads efforts to educate state and local policymakers on the importance of these economic ties. Previous roles include a candidacy for the Tennessee State House of Representatives, founding the TN-China Network to foster business connections between Tennessee and China, and consulting through Rowland China Advisory LLC. Elizabeth's background includes significant positions at Covington & Burling and the American Chamber of Commerce in China, alongside an educational foundation in international affairs from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
