Sean Maloney

Sean Maloney is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital forensics, law enforcement, and business development. Currently serving as the Digital Forensic Lab Director for the U.S. Coast Guard since June 2023, Sean previously held the position of Senior Account Executive at OpenText from August 2020 to May 2023, where strategic planning and revenue growth were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes roles as a Digital Extraction Technician for the FBI from February 2017 to August 2020 and as a Sergeant in the Massachusetts State Police's Cyber Crime Unit from June 1993 to August 2020, specializing in computer forensic examinations. Additionally, Sean contributed as an Adjunct Professor in Criminal Justice at Mount Washington College from November 2010 to July 2015. Educational qualifications consist of a Master’s degree in Law Enforcement Administration and a BS in Law Enforcement from Western New England University, as well as a Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Computer Forensics from Kaplan University.
