Tusarebecca Pannucci

TusaRebecca Pannucci, PhD, MPH, RD, is a recognized expert in nutrition and public health, currently serving as Branch Chief of the Nutrition and Economic Analysis Branch at the USDA since June 2022. Prior to this role, TusaRebecca was the Lead Nutritionist at USDA-CNPP for seven years, where leadership involved multidisciplinary analyses related to USDA Food Plans and Healthy Eating Index. TusaRebecca's experience includes a Cancer Prevention Fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, focusing on dietary assessment and technological improvements in self-reported diet accuracy, as well as academic roles, including a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University while pursuing a PhD in Nutrition Science. Educational qualifications encompass a Master's in Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health, a PhD from Purdue University, and an MSc in Food Science Technology and Nutrition from Technological University Dublin.
