Shane MacEdonio

Shane Macedonio currently serves as an Investment Principal at the U.S. Department of Commerce since September 2024. Prior to this role, Shane worked as a Climate Tech Investor at L Catterton in 2023, focusing on climate investing strategies in collaboration with various tech growth equity funds. From 2020 to 2022, Shane was a Tech Growth Equity Investor at LeapFrog Investments, contributing to a fund with $2 billion of committed capital targeted at transformative fintech and healthcare companies. Earlier experience includes working as a Healthcare Investor at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where Shane aimed to strengthen health systems and reduce mortality rates. Additionally, Shane engaged in satellite development and process innovation with the United States Space Force and served as a Senior Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company.
