William D. Provine

William D. Provine is an accomplished leader and innovator in the fields of science and technology, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer, President, Founder, and Board Member of The Innovation Space since April 2017, where efforts focus on fostering science-based entrepreneurial growth through collaboration with DuPont, the University of Delaware, and the State of Delaware. Additionally, William has held a position as a Board Member on the National Advisory Council on Innovation & Entrepreneurship since June 2022 and is actively involved with The Resolution Project and other organizations. With a long tenure at DuPont, including roles such as Sr. Director of Science & Innovation and leading various global operations and biotechnology initiatives, William has significantly impacted the innovation landscape. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
