Samantha Polydys

Samantha Polydys, LMSW, currently serves as a School Social Worker at the U.S. Department of Education since November 2024. Prior to this role, Samantha was the Site Director for the Learn & Earn Program at Commonpoint Queens from January 2022 to November 2024 and worked as a Program Coordinator for Families Count at the Family and Children's Association from November 2016 to December 2021, where responsibilities included individual and group family counseling. Additional experience includes positions as an Other Licensed Practitioner and Supervising Social Worker for Project Independence, as well as various internships focusing on school social work, foster care, and respite services. Samantha holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Iona University.
