Patty Brink is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Acting Deputy Director of the Bureau of Competition at the Federal Trade Commission since August 2022. Prior to this role, Patty Brink spent over three decades at the U.S. Department of Justice, where various positions included Senior Counsel for International and Intergovernmental Engagement, Senior Counselor in the Office of the Associate Attorney General, and Director of Professional Development and Civil Enforcement in the Antitrust Division. Patty Brink began legal education at Occidental College, earning an AB degree, and later obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of California, Davis.
