Athena C. is an experienced professional with a diverse background in health care and management. Currently serving as an Account Manager at the U.S. Department of the Treasury since October 2021, Athena also holds leadership roles as CEO of Bright Futures Investments, Inc. since June 2001 and as a First Aid Instructor and Health Care Disaster Responder for the American Red Cross since September 2014. Additional experience includes teaching at Invest Collegiate - Imagine from September 2021 to April 2022 and instructing swimming and lifeguarding at YWCA and Garrett - Williamson Foundation from the 1990s to the early 2000s. Athena's educational background includes pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Community Health and Preventive Medicine at Walden University and earning degrees in public health and medicine from American University and Windsor University, respectively. Athena also holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from DeVry University and an Associate of Science in Health Professions from Delaware County Community College.
