Samuel Brown currently serves as the Director (Supervisory Economist) at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where responsibilities include analyzing federal fiscal indicators, industrial production, and unemployment insurance claims, in addition to leading the editorial team for OEP’s Weekly Review. Previously, Samuel held the position of Research Associate at The Brookings Institution, providing analysis and support on tax policy and research output. Additionally, experiences as a Graduate Assistant at Syracuse University's Center for Policy Research and as a Senior Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Board contributed to a strong foundation in economic analysis and policy modeling. Samuel holds a Master of Public Administration degree in Public Finance from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Willamette University.
