Ellen Dabela

Ellen Dabela, MD, MBA, is a distinguished dermatologist and founder of the Dermatology Institute of Princeton since June 2022. Previously, Ellen served as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center from June 2020 to August 2021, and practiced in private dermatology settings from September 2017 to May 2020. Prior experience includes dermatology roles at Kaiser Permanente and Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where Ellen completed a residency in dermatology. Ellen began medical training after a transitional year at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and transitioned from a background in finance, having worked as an analyst at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Ellen holds an MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a BA in Economics from Yale University.
