Kristin Summers

Kristin Summers, BS, MSW, currently serves in a mental health position at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since January 2024. Prior to this role, Kristin worked as an Intake Coordinator at Brook Lane from October 2023 to January 2024 and held the position of Health Services Manager at the National Head Start Association from June 2018 to November 2019. Additional experience includes serving as a Research Program Assistant at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, a Social Work Substance Abuse Counselor for the State of Maryland, and a Program Counselor at Girls Inc. Kristin obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Salisbury University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology (BS) from Frostburg State University, with earlier education at Hagerstown Community College and Boonsboro High School.
