Melissa Milliorn

Melissa Milliorn, LMSW-IPR, currently serves as a VA PACT Social Worker at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since May 2023, collaborating with healthcare teams to address the bio psychosocial needs of Veterans in the West Texas VHA system. For nearly two decades, Melissa held various roles at Hardin-Simmons University, including Social Work Department Chair and Associate Professor, after directing Field Education from 2004 to 2011. Prior experience includes a CPS Support Supervisor position at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and a Social Work Case Manager role at Abilene Regional Medical Center. Melissa Milliorn earned a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Business and Social Work from Hardin-Simmons University.
