Shelley Cousins

Shelley Cousins, LMSW, currently serves as a readjustment counselor at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, providing mental healthcare support to veterans and their families in an outpatient setting since April 2024. Previous experience includes roles as a business development representative at Millcreek Behavioral Health, where mobile assessment and marketing for psychiatric treatment were emphasized, and as a medical social worker at Baptist Health Medical Center, focusing on patient admissions and discharge planning. Additional positions included therapeutic roles at Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Healthcare System, Conway Behavioral Health, and UHS, as well as social work internships at the Veteran Administration and UHS. Early career experience includes investigation work with the Arkansas State Police, specializing in crimes against children. Shelley holds a Master's degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
