Kapil Kher

Kapil Kher, PMP, CEM, currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Green Building Council since September 2024. Prior to this role, Kapil held various positions at AVIXA, including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Information Technology between June 2014 and October 2024. From May 2010 to June 2014, Kapil was the Director of Database and Web Development at the Associated General Contractors of America. Earlier experience includes roles as Database Manager at the National Apartment Association and Operations Project Manager at Tandberg, as well as a Software Developer at Tetra Tech. Kapil Kher holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, completed between 2003 and 2005.
