David Kang

David Kang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the Department of Defense and academia. Currently serving as the Director (J7), Training and Exercises for NORAD and US Northern Command since December 2023, David also holds the position of Deputy G3 at the 40th Infantry Division. In addition to these roles, David has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Georgetown University, University of Alaska Fairbanks, and University of Southern California since 2010, contributing to the education of future leaders. Prior to the current appointment, David served as Director at DHS, FEMA from April 2013 to December 2023. David holds a Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health/Microbiology from the University of Washington.
