Samantha Twiggs

Samantha Twiggs possesses extensive experience in strategic planning and operations within defense and security contexts, currently serving as a Strategic Planning Specialist and Gender Focal Point at NORAD & US Northern Command since October 2020. Samantha has developed and implemented comprehensive strategic plans focusing on Women, Peace, and Security initiatives, while also leading wargaming operations that bridge communication gaps between military and industry partners. Prior roles include Director of Operations at the Homeland Defense Institute, and various positions at ANSER, where Samantha established joint training programs and authored significant curriculum for military preparedness. An academic background includes a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice/Public Administration from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, a Gender and Women in Leadership certificate from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Montana.
