Kareem Hassib

Kareem Hassib serves as the Executive & Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Director for the BC Young New Democrats and has held various roles within the BC NDP, including Foot Canvasser and Recording Secretary for the Vancouver-South Granville Constituency Association. In addition to political involvement, Kareem is an elected Senator at the University of British Columbia, representing over 60,000 students and participating in several committees, while also serving as a Co-Chair for the Student Senate Caucus and a Governor on the UBC Board of Governors. Kareem's experience extends to multiple leadership roles in student organizations and committees focused on sustainability, governance, and financial management. Kareem's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of British Columbia, along with relevant earlier educational pursuits.
