Iain Millar

Iain Millar is an experienced professional in technology services and risk management, currently serving as the Head of Control Design in Technology Services Risk Management at UBS since April 2016. Previously, Iain held several leadership roles at UBS, including Head of Detect Controls and Service and Product Manager for Detect Controls. Before joining UBS, Iain was an Associate Partner at Citihub Consulting, specializing in IT Risk and Security for financial services clients. Iain also contributed to the (ISC)² EMEA Advisory Council, providing insights on information security and policy initiatives. Earlier in their career, Iain held director and technical leadership roles at Dresdner Kleinwort and Longside Technology Ltd, and worked as a Protocol Specialist at Hewlett-Packard Research Laboratories. Iain's academic background includes a PhD in Fault Tolerant Computer Networking and a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Aberdeen.
