James Walker

James Walker is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leading roles at prominent companies. Currently serving as the Lead CTO for Core Technology and Platforms at UBS since April 2019, James oversees a team of 12 domain CTOs focusing on cloud, security, infrastructure, identity, and data governance. Previous positions include Director of Product Innovation at Interxion, Principal Consultant at Zenzu, and Vice President of Managed Network Services at Tata Communications, where James significantly grew the VPN portfolio revenues. James also has a strong background in industry forums, co-founding the CloudEthernet Forum now part of MEF and holding advisory roles. James holds a degree from Dalhousie University and an International Baccalaureate from Ecole Internationale de Geneve.
