Kai Ye

Kai Ye is currently an Investment Banking Off-Cycle Intern at UBS, focusing on EMEA Infrastructure M&A, since July 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a researcher at I-X under Dr. Islem Rekik, specializing in Graph Neural Networks, and leadership positions at Algothon and the Imperial College Investment Society, where Kai served as Co-Head and Vice President, respectively. As an advisor for DoCSoc, contributions led to raising over £200k annually. Previously, significant achievements include serving as a Sponsorship Liaison & Industrial Event Officer, raising more than £200k from over 30 tech companies, and roles as an M&A Analyst at The MergerSight Group. Kai also completed summer and spring internships in investment banking at Santander, Bank of America, UBS, and HSBC, focusing on sectors such as renewables and TMT. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Imperial College London and secondary education at Kelvinside Academy.
