Eduardo da Veiga Beltrame

Eduardo da Veiga Beltrame is a multifaceted professional currently serving as a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on educational methodology for marginalized youth in Brazil. As the Bioinformatics Lead at ImYoo and a volunteer at the Instituto Pe. Vilson Groh, Eduardo supports educational initiatives and social inclusion efforts. Previously, Eduardo led the computational biology team at Retro Biosciences, specializing in single-cell RNA sequencing, and gained valuable experience during a PhD in Bioengineering at Caltech, where research also centered on RNA sequencing. Eduardo began a strong academic foundation with a Biophysics bachelor's degree from Brandeis University and vocational training in electronics.
