Ross Wilson is a biochemist with extensive experience in genome editing and protein science. Currently serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of California, Berkeley since November 2015, Ross Wilson leads a lab focused on enhancing the delivery of genome-editing enzymes. Previously, from March 2010 to May 2015, Ross Wilson worked as a Project Scientist and Principal Investigator in Jennifer Doudna's lab at UC Berkeley, where expertise in protein science, structural biology, and next-generation sequencing was applied to explore the roles of protein components in microRNA biogenesis. Prior to this, Ross Wilson conducted graduate research at The Ohio State University from September 2004 to March 2010 under Mark Foster, utilizing X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy to investigate archaeal proteins linked to RNase P. Ross Wilson holds a PhD in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University (2010) and a BS in Biochemistry from the same institution (2003).
