Adrian Lopez

Adrian Lopez is a seasoned professional in government relations with extensive experience in higher education and workforce development. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Government Relations at the University of California, Davis since January 2013, Adrian has previously held significant positions, including Director of Economic and Workforce Development and Director of Public and Governmental Relations at Yuba Community College District from September 2006 to December 2012. Adrian's career also includes roles as Legislative Advocate at the California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation and Statewide Coalition Director for Alliance for a Better California. Early in the career, Adrian gained experience as a Public Policy Fellow in the Office of Assemblymember Joe Coto. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis - School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics, with a Minor in Chicano Studies, from the University of California, Davis.
