Muhammad Haroon

Muhammad Haroon is a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Davis, focusing on privacy and safety harms associated with online systems since July 2021. Previously, Muhammad served as a Research Associate at Lahore University of Management Sciences, where work involved authorship privacy preservation and NLP for news media analytics, alongside automating workflows for archiving historical content. Muhammad has also held the title of Research Assistant at the Technology for People Initiative Lab. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Techlogix, contributing to the HealthCloud hospital management system and optimizing deployment protocols for critical updates. Muhammad holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences and has completed intermediate studies in Computer Science at Government College University in Lahore.
