Faris Alosaimi

Faris Alosaimi is an undergraduate student at UC San Diego, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Astronomy & Astrophysics from 2024 to 2028. Previous experience includes serving as a Volunteering Supervisor at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, where coordination of a team for the Mawhiba Research Enrichment Program was successfully managed. Faris demonstrated exceptional talent as a Mawhiba Gifted Student, achieving semifinalist status in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity 2024. As a Team Leader for the Beamline for Schools competition at CERN, leadership skills were further exemplified. Participation in the Talmatha Mentorship Program at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, along with involvement in the KACST GRI Enrichment Program, highlighted a commitment to scientific research and personal development.
