Lora K. Powell

Lora K. Powell serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of California San Diego since July 2018, bringing a wealth of experience in stage management and production roles. Notable positions include Assistant Stage Manager for the National Tour of "Blithe Spirit" and Production Stage Manager for "SCARY MUSICAL--The Musical" at the NoHo Arts Center. Previous roles include Production Stage Manager for "Harmony" at the Alliance Theatre and multiple assignments at Center Theatre Group, including positions for "The Scottsboro Boys," "Backbeat," and "Seminar." Lora K. Powell also served as a Stage Manager (Sub) for the 25th Anniversary production of "Les Miserables" and as Stage Manager for "Follies Los Angeles." Educational background includes a BA in Theatre and Political Science from The University of Kansas.
