Kristin Ashton

Kristin Ashton is a seasoned user experience designer and researcher currently serving as the Lead UX Designer & Researcher in the division of graduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles since November 2022. With extensive experience in UX design, Kristin has been self-employed as a User Experience Consultant since November 2018, providing mentorship and coaching to students and professionals. Prior roles include User Experience Designer at the University of California, Davis, and Senior User Experience Designer & Researcher at Paciolan, where Kristin contributed to various projects by collaborating with stakeholders, conducting user research, and developing design solutions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute and a Certificate in User Experience & Usability from California State University, Fullerton.
