Tyler Kerr

Tyler Kerr is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles, since February 2023. Previously, Tyler served as a Teaching Assistant at UC Irvine from August 2017 to December 2022, where responsibilities included teaching various chemistry labs and serving as head TA for inorganic labs. Additionally, Tyler worked as a Research Assistant and Crystallography Fellow, focusing on the collection and refinement of crystal structures. Prior experience includes a role as a Catalysis Science Technician at The University of Kansas, where Tyler synthesized and characterized compounds for CO2 reduction, and as Youth Director at Trinity Episcopal Church, managing youth programs and community events. Tyler's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from UC Irvine and a BS in Chemistry from both The University of Kansas and Wichita State University.
