Joanne Wright

Joanne Wright currently serves as the Head of People and Development at UK Biobank since January 2024. Previously, Joanne held the position of Client Consultant at BPP from October 2023 to January 2024 and was the HR Director for the UK and Ireland at Davies Group from June 2021 to October 2023. Other roles include Head of People at Keoghs, and Head of HR - Insurance Division at DWF, where Joanne worked from 2001 to 2016. Joanne's career began with various roles in human resources and management, including Human Resources Manager at Makro Self Service Wholesalers Ltd. and Store Personnel Manager at Asda. Joanne holds an MA in Human Resources Development from the University of Central Lancashire and a CIPD qualification in Human Resources Management and Services from De Montfort University, along with other relevant certifications in psychology.
