Ian Jackson

Ian Jackson is an experienced banking professional currently serving as the Chair of the Savings Committee at UK Finance since September 2022. Previously, Ian held various leadership roles at Metro Bank (UK), including Interim Director of Banking and Head of Deposits, from May 2022 to November 2024. From October 2017 to April 2022, Ian was the Head of Deposits, Product Management & Customer Experience at Cynergy Bank. Ian's prior experience includes positions at Bank of Ireland as Head of Savings Product Management and Senior Product Manager - Online Savings, as well as roles at Post Office Ltd as Senior Marketing Planning Manager and Senior Product Marketing Manager. Ian holds a BSc in Business Studies from City, University of London.
