Hassan Noureddine

Hassan Noureddine is an experienced Network Planning Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and sustainable energy technologies. Currently at UK Power Networks since November 2021, Hassan focuses on designing investment projects in the MV Network in accordance with the 2030 MV Network Master Plan. Previously, Hassan served as a Network Planning Engineer at Electricité du Liban (EDL) from June 2014 to October 2021, where responsibilities included project design approval and capacity assessments for distribution substations. Additional roles included Electrical HV/MV Substation Engineer and Electrical Distribution Engineer. Early career experience involved R&D for hybrid and renewable energy systems at companies such as Serta and METS Energy SAL. Hassan holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Energy Technologies from the University of Southampton and dual engineering degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Lebanese University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
