Alan Thompson is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with over two decades of experience spanning various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Manager of Energy Technology Consulting and Strategic Projects at UK Power Networks Services since March 2022, Alan oversees key initiatives in energy technology and sustainability. Previously held roles include Director of Finance and Operations at Banjo Robinson and Manager of Energy Technology Consulting at UK Power Networks Services, where efforts focused on helping clients achieve net-zero carbon targets. Prior to these positions, Alan's expertise was further developed at organizations such as Navigant, Vector Limited, Lane Clark & Peacock LLP, PA Consulting Group, Deloitte & Touche, and McLennan Magasanic Associates. Alan possesses a B.Com (Hons) in Management Science from the University of Canterbury.
