Murat Akser

Murat Akser is an accomplished film director and screenwriter currently involved in projects within the Global Film and TV Industry. With a strong academic background, Murat has served as a Senior Lecturer in Screen Production and Director of Development and Partnerships at the University of Ulster, along with a role as a Lecturer in Cinematic Arts. Additionally, Murat has held the position of Professor of Cinema and Media Studies at Kadir Has University and has contributed as an Instructor at the University of Toronto and a Teaching Assistant at Ryerson University. Murat Akser holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Communication and Culture from York University and a Master of Arts in Screenwriting for Film and Television from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology.
