Jane Cooper

Jane Cooper currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Europe including the Middle East at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this role, Jane held several leadership positions at Biogen from April 2012 to August 2022, including Head of Neuro Muscular Diseases for the Biogen Intercontinental Region and SMA Regional Lead for International Partner Markets. Jane's responsibilities encompassed market development, regulatory affairs, commercialization, and operations across numerous countries. Previous experience includes an Associate Principal role at McKinsey & Company, where Jane advised Fortune 500 healthcare and technology firms, and a Partner position at CSC Index, supporting clients across diverse sectors. Jane began their career in sales and marketing with Butterfield & Robinson and had a foundational role at TD Bank Group in corporate finance. Jane holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in Finance and Strategy from London Business School and a BSc in Pre-Med and Economics from the University of Otago.
