Scott Leary

Scott Leary is a Psychiatry Resident at the University of Miami Health System since July 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Medical Student at Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine from July 2017 to April 2021, and as an English Teaching Assistant at I.E.S. Villablanca from October 2016 to June 2017. Scott was a Graduate Researcher with Fulbright España from September 2015 to June 2016, focusing on the molecular biology of HIV latency. Additional experience includes an internship at the National Cancer Institute in May 2015, tutoring roles at Tutor Doctor and the Center for Academic Success, serving as Vice President of Operations for Sigma Phi Epsilon AL Beta, and working as an International Student Ambassador during the Serbia Fellowship Experience. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Florida International University (2017-2021) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Spanish Language and Literature along with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from the University of Alabama (2011-2015).
