Lywana D.

Lywana D. is a Graduate Student at the University of Michigan, pursuing a PhD in Education since July 2024. Previous experience includes serving as a Program Coordinator for Education at the American Academy of Arts & Sciences from June 2022 to July 2024, and working as an Auxiliar de idiomas at NALCAP from October 2021 to June 2022. Lywana has also held roles as a Youth Advocate at Harlem Children's Zone, Civic Cops Member at Breakthrough New York, Development Intern at the Children's Defense Fund, and Development Intern at The Sylvia Center. Early career experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Gibel & Associates Inc. Lywana D. earned a Bachelor's Degree in International/Global Studies and History from The City College of New York between 2014 and 2019, and completed high school at Life Sciences Secondary School from 2011 to 2015.
