Dr. Mariam El-Kalay

BCBA Volunteer at UMMA COMMUNITY CLINIC

Dr. Mariam El-Kalay holds a Doctor of Behavioral Health from Arizona State University, a Master’s Degree in Special Education with an Emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego. Currently, Dr. El-Kalay serves as an Academic Associate at Arizona State University and as the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Explorer Development Center, a position held since May 2016. Additionally, Dr. El-Kalay has volunteered as a BCBA at UMMA Community Clinic since January 2021 while also completing a Behavioral Health internship there. Prior to these roles, Dr. El-Kalay was a Behavioral Services Program Coordinator at Sunny Days of CA, Inc. from September 2011 to May 2016 and an Adjunct Professor at National University from August 2012 to December 2013.
