Anindya Bhagirath

Anindya Bhagirath is an experienced professional in the field of international development and renewable energy. Currently serving as an Associate Programme Officer at UN Climate Change since January 2023, Anindya previously held similar roles at the International Renewable Energy Agency from February 2018 to January 2023. As a consultant at Climate Investment Funds, Anindya conducted comprehensive market research across over 70 countries and co-authored a case study on clean-cookstoves financing in Honduras. Anindya's earlier experiences include a monitoring and evaluation internship at UNDP, where a framework was constructed for the Social Register database, and an internship at the Indian Ocean Rim Association, which involved drafting concept notes and organizing workshops. Anindya's academic background includes a Master of Arts in International Development Studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology from the University of Bristol.
